The School Financial Management Institute is a collaboration between the UK College of Education and an advisory board of education professionals in Kentucky that prepares participants to take the Certified School Financial Manager exam.
New and aspiring school finance officers will participate in a year-long professional learning experience held virtually and at the KDE building. A program orientation will begin the activities on the first day of the program. The success of this program depends on individual professionalism and ability to participate in ALL the activities, classes and discussions. We underscore the importance of full attendance.
Please Note: Effective Instructional Leadership Act (EILA) credit will be available. Request for special needs will be accommodated, if requested in advance. The program is also supported by Kentucky Association of School Business Officials (KASBO).
